Before we get to the good stuff, you might be asking “What the heck is Tahini?” Well my friends, Tahini is delicious and creamy toasted ground hulled sesame. It has a slightly nutty, earthy and rich flavor and is incredibly versatile. You may recognize the flavor from hummus, as it is one of the star ingredients. Tahini can be found at most grocery stores, typically in the condiment or oil aisle if not in the ethic aisle. Or it can be found online here: https://amzn.to/2ZfJsKT
To make this sauce vegan, simply substitute the honey with maple syrup or agave. Now, let’s make your new favorite sauce!
